Help us Help Kids

During the last year, one in five children in our community needed emergency food to avoid hunger. Child hunger is a serious threat to health, development and future productivity. In early childhood, hunger can result in irreversible damage, including kidney and heart failure, and diabetes.

Local hunger relief organizations Oregon Food Bank and Share are working to end hunger in our community–-especially child hunger.

Burgerville is committed to helping them. Join us.

Purchase a 10-piece family pack of Walla Walla Sweet Onion Rings and Burgerville will donate $1 to a fund benefiting both organizations.

No one should be hungry. Together we can make a difference.

Share is a southwest Washington-based nonprofit devoted to providing food, shelter and emergency services.  Two innovative programs––the children’s Summer Meals Program and the Children’s Backpack Program––  have been successful in providing meals for children in need when school’s doors are closed.
